For many, the word ‘Alafiia’ is a ‘Yoruba’ term that popularly means ‘inner-peace’. Yoruba is a tribal language practiced by natives of small premises in the southwestern part of Nigeria. The etymology of ‘Alafia’ in Yoruba meaning “reveal one’s dreams” suggests the capability to manifest one’s dreams that leads to a sense of well-being and satisfaction i.e. the quintessence of inner-peace.
We have two distinct locations for our travelers’ camps: one in Lalganj and the other in Mousuni. We offer customized, enriching travel experiences for our customers.

“As a off-beat place, it’s one of the best place to visit if you want to stay away from crowd. Run away to this village beside Hooghly river, where you can have tasty barbecue chicken at evening with whispers of waves and a soothing breeze. Take half a day to reach if stating in Kolkata. Take a train to Namkhana -> take a toto to any of the ghat -> take the ferry -> take another toto to your camp. Or simply take your bike. I prefer Alafiia camp because of its cleanliness, soothing behaviour and the quality of food and stay.”
